Law
The Terms and Conditions below and the agreement between Oxfordshire Executive Chauffeurs and the Customer are governed by English Law.
Alteration
Minor itinerary adjustments are free of charge. The company at its own discretion will determine the nature of any adjustments and alter the charges accordingly.
Waiting Time
The first 10 minutes of waiting time are automatically included in our charges, thereafter we charge waiting time by 15 minutes increments at the rate published in our Tariff.
Note that Airport Transfers are subject to our published time allowance.
Hire Price
We guarantee the cost of vehicle hire providing that the original itinerary at the time of booking hasn’t been altered.
Our Obligations to You
We shall supply all the services specified in the Confirmation of Booking sent to you. We accept responsibility for our employees’ actions while on duty.
Insurance
We are insured for passenger travel. This insurance is for public liability and doesn’t constitute travel insurance.
We don’t accept responsibilities for Delays caused by adverse weather conditions Any theft or damage to properties of the signatory of the contract or any other person travelling within the contract, except where such theft or damage is caused by a direct action of Oxfordshire Executive Chauffeurs employees. Any delays caused by strike action. Acts of god or conflict or war or Force Majeure.
Disorderly Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone deemed to be a nuisance or danger to our passengers or employees. We may seek the help of the police to remove any offenders from our vehicles and will not pay compensation or refund in such circumstances.
Illegal Material
The carrying or use of unregistered weapons, or any illegal drugs in our cars is totally forbidden. You must inform us about any registered weapon you wish to carry with you at the time of booking.
Music
Playing musical instruments in our cars is at the driver’s discretion – you must seek his/her permission prior to commencing the journey.
Smoking
Following PCO regulations smoking is forbidden in all Private Hire Vehicles!
Complaints
If for some reason you are unhappy with the service, you should, in the first instance, relay your concerns immediately to the driver, who will try to rectify the issue on the spot.
If the matter hasn’t been resolved to your satisfaction, please telephone 07930 606081 – providing the driver’s details, date and time of the incident and our Booking Reference Number – we usually solve most issues amicably.
However, in the unlikely event of any remaining dispute, we will refer the matter to the Institute of Arbitrators.
Pets
You must seek our written permission to carry pets with you in our vehicles.
Guide dogs are allowed, but you must inform us at the time of booking.
Use of Vehicles
Oxfordshire Executive Chauffeurs make every effort to supply top quality vehicles. However, should such vehicles are not available, we reserve the right to provide a similar standard alternative vehicle.
Use of Sub-contractors
From time to time we reserve the right to use sub-contractors to complement our own workforce.
Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel your booking the following charges will apply:

We only charge your credit/debit card 24 hours before pickup time | |
Weddings and daily hire – notice period is two weeks (Any deposit paid is non-refundable) | |
The notice period for Long distance journeys (over 40 miles) is 24 hours | |
We reserve the right to apply a minimum administration charge of GBP £10+VAT for any refund | |
In the event of cancellation of part of a Packaged or Discounted booking, We reserve the right to remove any discounts previously applied. | |
Cancellation of part of a booking, once its first journey has been taken, is subject to a charge of GBP £50+VAT |
All Pickups
In the unlikely event that you can’t find the driver, you must call us immediately on 07930 606081 and wait for our advice – no refund will be given unless we have confirmed that the vehicle booked, or an alternative one is unavailable.
Any breach of the above Terms and Conditions could result in termination of your hire agreement with Oxfordshire Executive Chauffeurs – we will not refund your costs or pay compensation in such event.
